On Saturday, our 1st XV won a hard-fought encounter against the Old Illtydians at Moorland Park, Splott. 3-16 the final score. A penalty try coming from pressure at the scrum and the boot of Tomi Booth providing the rest.
This was the final group stage match and victory secured the top spot in the group for Pentyrch, meaning progression to the knock-out stages - and a step closer the Principality Stadium.
With a break next week, due to the Wales v New Zealand match, the Firsts return to action against Fairwater away, in the league, on 12 November.
